General:

The Client is obligated to pay for accommodation upon arrival, and FRANKFURT HOSTEL is obligated to provide said accommodation on the dates confirmed in the booking. Management and staff reserve the right to refuse accommodation to anyone. In case of disputes, jurisdiction is the place of business of FRANKFURT HOSTEL. Every effort is made to maintain the accuracy of this website. However we can not be responsible for periodic errors and omissions.

Arrival and departure:

Check-In starts at 2pm; Check-Out ends at 11am on the day of departure. A Security deposit of EUR 5,00 for the key is paid on arrival, and refunded on departure, when the key is returned.

Prices and payments:

The prices shown on the website for the date selected are the current prices. Prices are subject to change at any time. The prices (in Euro) include the statutory Value Added Tax. VAT is changed by legislation and effects prices for booked rooms immediately. Prices can change at any time. Special prices and cancellation terms apply for group bookings. Usually the payment is due on arrival. For reservations totaling more than 100 euro, as well as reservations during a trade fair we reserve the right to charge your credit card up to 20 percent of the original amount as a non-refundable deposit.

Payment is by cash, debit card or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). This also applies to additional days added to a booking.

Reservations and Bookings:

Reservations by internet are booked with a credit card number (only Visa, Mastercard accepted). A reservation request is not a confirmed booking until the client receives a confirmation email from FRANKFURT HOSTEL. The person making the reservation is the person named on the credit card and the person staying in the room. Subletting or subleasing of the rented rooms is not allowed.

Please note that FRANKFURT HOSTEL reserves the right to cancel hostel-website reservations within 24 hours after receipt without giving reasons.

Guests can request specific room assignment; however FRANKFURT HOSTEL decides the final room assignment based on availability. Last minute reservations can be made by phone.

Special payment and cancellation conditions apply for Group bookings which are submitted to the group leader via email by an official quotation. Please send your request to info@frankfurt-hostel.com. Groups of children and adolescents (under 18 years) must be accompanied by at least one responsible adult.

The following conditions apply to cancellations of bookings made on this website:

Cancellations are to be submitted via email to info@frankfurt-hostel.com
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations submitted more than 48 hours in advance of arrival day: No further charges apply
Cancellations submitted within 48 hours in advance of arrival day: A charge equivalent to the balance of your first night’s stay applies.
No cancellation received: A charge equivalent to the balance of your first night’s stay applies.
The 48-hour period is calculated from the time the cancellation has been submitted
Early departure; notification until 48 hours in advance of departure day:  No cancellation fees.
Early departure; notification within 48 hours in advance of departure day: Charges are non-refundable. The calculation of the final cancellation fee will be at the discretion of FRANKFURT HOSTEL.

Cancellation: FRANKFURT HOSTEL will cancel a reservation or booking for the following reasons:

False personal information given by the client.
False credit card information given by the client.
Nonpayment of the deposit by the client.
Nonpayment on arrival.
“No-show”

Liability:

FRANKFURT HOSTEL suggests that guests purchase adequate travel insurance against any losses. High value items, jewelery or large amounts of cash belonging to the guest are not the responsibility of FRANKFURT HOSTEL. The liability of FRANKFURT HOSTEL is limited by statutory regulation.

Others:

Loss or damage Claims must be presented immediately for the claim to be valid. Guests held liable under the law will be made to pay for willful damage or damage by negligence to buildings and their contents.
