Elvis in Bad Nauheim
During his time as G.I. , Elvis met in Bad Nauheim his future wife,Priscilla, 14 years old dauther ofthe US Captains. Here were filmed “G.I. Blues”.He also recored “Wooden Heart”, based on the German folk melody.

Before ist destruction during the last war´s air raids Frankfurt had the largest medieval gothic city center in central Europe. In Westend, a noble living and office area, there is (apart from the large public green 'Grueneburgpark'), the 'Palmengarten' for those with botanical interest, with green houses imitating many different climates. There are several upper class restaurants, most of Frankfurt university has recently moved here and Westend´s synagogue impresses with its architecture in historic style.
