Getting to Frankfurt Hostel
After arrival/before departure
Luggage storage is always possible in the hostel, so you can use arrival and departure day to see more of Frankfurt.
Parking a car
is possible in several parking garages in the hostel area. Free parking in the street about 5 min away on foot. Friday 5 p.m. to Monday 7 a.m. free parking right in front of the hostel.
! Tuesday and thursday from 6 a.m. all cars in front of the hostel will be towed away. A street market is put up !
Saalburg Kastell
The Roman Limes(The North Border of the Roman Empire) was built across the Taunus. The restored Roman castellum, now houses a museum. After the fall of Limes (259/260A.D.), the Allemanni settled here.

from Frankfurt International Airport All trains from the airport to Frankfurt city center go via Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof(our stop) at least every 15 Min. One way is just over 3,- EUR, 17 minutes, 3 stops |

from Frankfurt-Hahn Airport Frankfurt-Hahn is 110 km from Frankfurt City. Buses (1hr 45min.) arrive and depart at Frankfurt main train station(Hauptbahnhof), south exit \"Ausgang Südseite\". |
from the main train station(Hauptbahnhof) follow the signs 'Ausgang Kaiserstraße'/ 'Ausgang City' which will lead you dirctly to Kaiserstraße. The third house on the left is Das Hostel Frankfurt. |
from Central Bus Terminal International Buses arrive directly in front of Hauptbahnhof. The 'Eurolines' (biggest bus company in Europe) office you find in the station building. |
by car We do not recommend to travel into Frankfurt by car, but if you are already on your way, please use our road map. |
by boat Just moor your rubber dinghy in the western river port, only 15 minutes walk from the hostel. |

Discount tickets
Hessen ticket
Each region (Bundesland) offers it’s own discount ticket, named by the state’s name. In Hesse - Hessen ticket, which is valid for up5 people for 24hr It’s valid in the Hessen region only (slow trains only /bicycles free).
Wochenende ticket
(weekend ticket) It gives up to 5 people for only 35€ unlimited travel in Germany to any destination, but only during 24hr Saturday or Sunday (not valid on express trains ICE/IC). Be quick, the number of tickets is limited!
