Shopping in Frankfurt
Short walk up our Kaiser Str. brings you to Zeil Str. which is a pedestrian shopping district of Frankfurt. Start with the café on the roof of Kaufhof department store. Then you can stroll along and hear the street musicians, see the artists and taste the sausages or fruits and vegetables from the market stalls. If you are still looking for more, there is the old town just a short walk away.

In our many theaters, some even performing in English, every day all sorts of different plays meet every taste. Frankfurt is an international city und almost the whole world磗 cuisine is available, so there is many possibilities to eat out. Especially in the area around the hostel you will find a wide choice of good value take-away food. Or do you want to experience Frankfurt cookery in a typical cosy old fashioned local restaurant, where the local drink 'Apfelwein',a type of dry alcoholic cider, is home made and served with hearty food like German sausage or other Frankfurt specialities.
