Rhine Castle Route
In about 1 hour by train you reach the world-famous Middle Rhine Valley. The river Rhine meanders through a narrow gorge between steep wooded or vineyard-covered hills, with innumerable romantic robber-barons´castles on their tops and the famous 'Loreley' rock in its sharpest bend.
Saalburg Kastell
The Roman Limes(The North Border of the Roman Empire) was built across the Taunus. The restored Roman castellum, now houses a museum. After the fall of Limes (259/260A.D.), the Allemanni settled here.
