General: The Client is obligated to pay for accomodation upon arrival, and FRANKFURT HOSTEL is obligated to provide said accomodation on the dates confirmed in the booking. Management and staff reserve the right to refuse accomodation to anyone. In case of disputes, jurisdiction is the place of business of FRANKFURT HOSTEL. Every effort is made to maintain the accuracy of this web site. However we can not be responsible for periodic errors and ommissions.

Arrival and departure: Check in should be after 2.00 p.m. on the day of arrival and check out should be before 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed. In case a guest wishes to check out later than 11.00 a.m., reception should be notified about it. This does not apply to: Bookings that have been paid for in advance or for which a voucher has been issued or for which a credit card number from a credit card company accepted by FRANKFURT HOSTEL has been received. A Security deposit of EUR 5,00 for the key is paid on arrival, and refunded on departure, when the key is returned.

Prices and payments: The prices shown on the website for the date selected, are the current prices. Prices are subject to change at any time. The prices (in Euro) include the statutory Value Added Tax. VAT is changed by legislation and effects prices for booked rooms immediately. Prices can change at any time. Special prices apply for special events and during fair periods in Frankfurt am Main.

 

If a reservation is undertaken during a fair period in Frankfurt am Main, please be advised that we handle all reservations with pre-payment only. We charge your credit card with the total amount of your booking on the day the reservation was undertaken. All cancellations, reservation changes and No-Shows during fair periods will be charged with 100% of the total amount of your booking. 

 

Payment is by cash, debit card or credit card (visa, mastercard). This also applies to additional days added to a booking.

Reservations and Bookings: Reservations by internet are booked with a credit card number (only visa, Mastercard accepted). A reservation request is not a confirmed booking until the client receives a confirmation email from FRANKFURT HOSTEL. No confirmation - no booking! The person making the reservation is the person named on the credit card and the person staying in the room. Subletting or subleasing of the rented rooms Is not allowed.

 

Please note that the hostel reserves itself the right to cancel hotel-website reservations within 24 hours after receipt without giving reasons.

Guests can request specific room assignment, however FRANKFURT HOSTEL decides the final room assignment based on availability. Last minute reservations can be made by phone.

Group Bookings: Bookings for 12 persons or more, is defined as a group. Send email for special processing. When booking groups for dormitory rooms please specify mixed rooms or the number of male and female guests in the group. The confirmed booking will be by number of rooms and not beds (i.e. 3 rooms with 5 beds each). Groups of children and adolescents (to 18 years) must be accompanied by at least one responsible adult. A discount is not given for youth (club) memberships. To speed up check-in procedures, a group leader should take responsibility for payment, keys and key deposits.

Cancellations: A request by a client to cancel a booking will only be valid after receiving a cancellation e-mail from FRANKFURT HOSTEL. When notice of cancellation is requested by a booked guest, the cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

1. Normal cancellations (except for trade shows, special events and groups).

2. Cancellations for trade/fair shows, special events and groups. 

The calculation of the final cancellation fee will be at the discretion of FRANKFURT HOSTEL.

Cancellation: FRANKFURT HOSTEL will cancel a reservation or booking for the following reasons:

Liability: FRANKFURT HOSTEL suggests that guests purchase adequate travel insurance against any losses. High value items, jewelery or large amounts of cash belonging to the guest are not the responsibility of FRANKFURT HOSTEL. The liability of FRANKFURT HOSTEL is limited by statutory regulation.

 

Others: Loss or damage Claims must be presented immediately for the claim to be valid. Guests held liable under the law will be made to pay for willful damage or damage by negligence to buildings and their contents.
